The Portland, Oregon Interviews:

In December 2024, Kevin Kirkwood recorded a series of interviews in Portland, Oregon, for The Strand. Conversations took place in artist studios, at a dining room table, and inside a parked Toyota sedan, reflecting the informal, everyday spaces where artists inhabit.

Later, a second Portland series was recorded during the first week of July 2026. Each episode was recorded either inside each of the artist’s studio or their self-owned gallery.
